Join our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team and help clients get the most from Murex risk management solutions. You will support and implement solutions across:
- Credit risk, xVA
- Market risk, VaR
- Risk control and operations, including limits management
Your Role
- Build trusted client relationships and provide support.
- Manage production support and enhancement requests from analysis and configuration through validation testing and deployment.
- Contribute to or lead communication with client IT support teams and risk end users.
- Coordinate with product and release management teams to schedule client deliveries.
- Partner with the Client Manager to prepare activity dashboards, risk management presentations, and project documentation.
- Organize and deliver training for end users and IT teams.
- Contribute to or lead implementation activities, including solution configuration, validation testing, and deployment.
- Maintain an ongoing dialogue with Murex development teams, sharing client feedback and helping shape continuous product improvements.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in a relevant position.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (minimum JLPT N2 or equivalent) is required. The successful candidate must be comfortable and confident interacting directly with clients in Japanese, including conducting meetings, managing stakeholder communications, and discussing business and technical topics.
- Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle/Sybase), XML, and Unix scripting.
- An analytical mindset, a structured approach to problem-solving, and strong attention to detail.
- A quantitative background is an advantage, particularly for Trading or ERM; an accounting background is an advantage, particularly for Finance.
- Clear and confident communication and presentation skills.
- A collaborative, client-focused approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the APAC/SEA region.
Your Growth in the Role
What success can look like
- First 3 months: Build your understanding of the core solution areas and the client’s operating model, shadow production support activities, and deliver your first support ticket.
- 3–6 months: Begin taking ownership of a functional workstream within production support, support client validation during project SIT/UAT cycles, and document end-to-end test scenarios.
- 6–12 months: Independently own production support activities, drive a small client feature from requirements through design and deployment, and contribute to internal quality initiatives presented to stakeholders.
