Director of Rehabilitation Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all therapy department operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop PT, OT, SLP, PTA, and COTA team members
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and department performance
- Collaborate with facility leadership to achieve clinical and operational goals
- Drive quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation accuracy
- Develop innovative rehabilitation programs and clinical initiatives
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top therapy talent
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence
- Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth
Qualifications
Required
- Current California license as a: Physical Therapist (PT) Occupational Therapist (OT) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Strong clinical knowledge in skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and team building
Preferred
- Previous Director of Rehabilitation experience
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) leadership experience
- Experience managing multidisciplinary therapy teams
