This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical BI expertise with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, helping bridge the gap between complex engineering data and everyday business decision-making.

- Gather requirements from engineering, data science, and business stakeholders.
- Understand user needs and convert them into effective reporting and visualisation solutions.
- Provide training and support to dashboard users.
Governance & Best Practice
- Maintain reporting standards and data quality.
- Document dashboards, metrics, and reporting processes.
- Advocate modern BI and data visualisation best practices.
- Contribute ideas for improving reporting capabilities and user experience.
Essential Requirements
- Current and valid Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification.
- Proven experience developing professional dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Proven experience with Grafana dashboard development.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and visualisation best practices.
- Experience working with SQL and large datasets.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management and requirement-gathering skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and genuinely enthusiastic about using data to drive improvement.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within engineering, transportation, rail, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, utilities, or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with Python, Spark, Databricks, or cloud-based data platforms.
- Understanding of operational performance, maintenance, reliability, or asset management analytics.
- Experience working alongside Data Science or Machine Learning teams.
- Knowledge of data governance and reporting standards.
