Security Officer

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable and professional Full-Time Unarmed Secure Transport Officer to join our team in Grand Junction, Colorado. This position involves providing safe and secure transportation services throughout Colorado while maintaining professionalism, strong situational awareness, and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate is a responsible driver who can remain calm in changing situations, communicate effectively, and follow established transportation procedures. Comprehensive training is provided for qualified candidates.

 

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Position: Unarmed Secure Transport Officer
• Available Schedules:
  • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

 

Primary Responsibilities

Secure Transportation Services

• Safely transport assigned individuals between designated facilities and approved destinations throughout Colorado.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly while complying with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Plan and follow assigned transportation routes and schedules.
• Assist with safe entry into and exit from transport vehicles when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional and respectful environment throughout each transport assignment.

Safety & Security

• Monitor passengers throughout transportation assignments while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
• Promote a secure environment by following established transportation procedures.
• Respond appropriately to unexpected situations and promptly notify supervisors when necessary.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow all company safety standards and operational guidelines.

Documentation & Communication

• Complete transportation logs, inspection forms, and incident reports accurately.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, supervisors, and receiving personnel.
• Document delays, route changes, incidents, or operational concerns promptly.
• Utilize company communication and reporting systems as assigned.

Professional Service

• Treat all passengers with dignity, professionalism, and respect.
• Provide courteous communication during every assignment.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding transportation activities and operational information.
• Always Represent Citadel Security USA professionally.

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Safe driving history and commitment to defensive driving practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment under pressure.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional driving or transportation experience.
• Experience working in security, transportation, military, public safety, or customer service.
• Familiarity with electronic reporting systems and mobile communication devices.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.

 

Training Provided

No prior transport experience is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to drive for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently.
• Ability to assist passengers during loading and unloading when appropriate.
• Lift or move up to approximately 25 pounds as needed.
• Maintain alertness during long-distance travel assignments.
• Workday, overnight, weekend, and holiday schedules as operational needs require.

• Primarily vehicle-based assignments throughout Colorado.
• Frequent travel between multiple locations.
• Combination of highway and local driving.
• Independent work environment requires consistent situational awareness.
• Regular interaction with passengers, dispatch personnel, and client representatives.
