Job Description Summary

Responsible for activities related to WFGD commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The mechanical commissioning  engineer performs on hand job the cold and hot communication activities for FGD Systems and Process
• Be able to assist the turnover TOP engineer in system walk downs and NOCC
• Be able to do instrument Calibration – Thermocouples, RTD’s, Pressure and Temperature transmitters, level transmitters, etc.
• Be able to do pneumatic, hydraulic, motorized valves commissioning.
• Be able to do signal loop checks from field to DCS marshalling
• Be able to read and understand PFUP’s,/Process Logic SEL, SPL, Etc.
• Be able to do cold and hot commissioning of the systems like oil flushing, start up preparation, simulation, and protection checks.
• Be able to understand and complete commissioning  ITP, ITPL, and handover all the documentations to client at the end of the project.

Required Qualifications

• University degree or technical qualification in Mechanical engineering field.
• Minimum 10years Experience in Mechanical or Field Commissioning
