Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links is seeking an experienced General Manager, Food & Beverage to lead our on-site dining operations. Set on the historic Jameson family estate overlooking the Velvet Strand, our resort is home to three distinctive outlets: the 1780 Restaurant, the Seaview, and the historic Jameson Bar, alongside banqueting and event catering for up to 300 delegates.Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links is owned by Sandman Hotel Group Ireland, part of Northland Properties Corporation, a privately held, family-run hospitality group founded in Canada in 1963. Portmarnock was Northland's first investment in the Irish market and remains a flagship property in its international portfolio.About the Role: You will have full operational and commercial responsibility and accountability for all F&B outlets, banqueting, and event catering across the resort. We are looking for a leader who brings exceptional guest experience standards, elevating service, quality, and guest satisfaction across every outlet. An entrepreneurial and business owner mindset is required to succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations across all restaurants and banqueting/event catering spacesSet and deliver F&B budgets, cost controls, and revenue targetsMonitor P&L performance and determine business prioritiesRecruit, train, and develop leadership team and front-line teamsChampion 5-star luxury service standards and guest experience across all outletsPartner with Sales & Events on weddings, conferences, and eventsDevelop menus and beverage programmes that reflect the resort's Irish whiskey heritage and coastal settingReport to senior management on performance, guest feedback, and improvement initiatives What You Have:Proven experience as a GM or senior F&B leader in a multi-outlet restaurant brand, hotel or resort environmentStrong track record delivering exceptional guest experiences, ideally within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine-dining settingStrong financial acumen and experience managing all aspects of the P&LExcellent leadership and team development skillsExperience with banqueting/events at scale (weddings, conferences) a requirementPassion for hospitality, Irish food & drink culture, and guest experienceFlexibility to work evenings/weekends as required by resort operations What We Offer:Competitive salary, commensurate with experienceStaff discounts on golf, spa, and diningCareer development within a leading international hospitality groupA unique working environment steeped in history on Dublin's coast
