You will form part of the Mass Foundation Cluster which is one of the largest customer-facing business segments in Old Mutual. The Technical Team Leader will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Worksite Team, ensuring efficient service delivery, operational excellence, and achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Worksite Team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

• Monitor operational performance against agreed targets and implement corrective actions where required.

• Support the development and execution of operational plans that align with business objectives and strategic priorities.

• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve individual and team performance objectives.

• Manage work allocation, resource planning, and team capacity to ensure operational commitments are met.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and operational efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to organisational policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders to support business delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

• Analyse operational information and provide recommendations to improve performance and support decision-making.

• Coordinate the implementation of new initiatives, processes, and operational changes within the team.

• Monitor operational risks and implement appropriate controls to ensure sound governance and business continuity.

• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-focused service delivery.

Requirements:

• A diploma or equivalent qualification required.

• 2-3 years' experience in management or leading a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
