Sanitation Operator - Swing Shift

This position is onsite at our Ferndale, WA location.

$21.13-$23.00 per hour

Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday / 4pm-2:30am

Barlean’s is a privately owned nutritional supplements brand based in Ferndale, Washington. We’re seeking a Sanitation Operator who takes pride in maintaining high-quality standards, communicates clearly, and enjoys partnering with manufacturing and other teams to ensure our products meet regulatory and company requirements.

The Sanitation Operator is responsible to accomplish the miscellaneous jobs necessary for daily environmental health, safety, and sanitation. This person is also responsible for other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This person must work well independently as well as with a team.

• Maintain log paperwork.
• Clean equipment brought and logged into wash bay.
• Sanitation of all equipment.
• FIFO (First In - First Out) mentality for cleaning wash bay parts.
• Ability to move from one location to another, per department needs.
• Clean and sanitize common areas outside of wash bay.
• Maintain proper use of all secondary containers and ensure it is sustained throughout the manufacturing floor.
• Backup and crossover with other areas in the Environmental Health & Safety department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Attention to detail-documentation oriented processes.
• Self-starter and follow through.
• Task oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, and climb ladder and stairs.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.

High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
