Company Description

We are building an agentic AI platform that helps financial institutions automate customer interactions and improve service delivery across voice, digital, and employee-assisted channels.

The platform uses a unified AI system to understand customer needs, respond to requests, and complete workflows end-to-end. Rather than simply routing customers to human representatives or answering basic questions, the AI agents are designed to resolve customer requests autonomously while operating within the requirements of financial services.

The product serves community banks and credit unions, helping them automate customer support, improve customer satisfaction, and increase operational efficiency. The platform is designed to integrate with existing financial systems and support reliable, compliant, and scalable customer experiences.

The company is venture-backed, cash-flow positive, and experiencing strong demand. The product team is expanding to support rapid product development and new initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Own a product subdomain end-to-end: Take responsibility for a defined area of the platform, including its roadmap, execution, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

  • Drive product strategy and prioritization: Build, sequence, and defend your roadmap while aligning with the broader direction established by product leadership.

  • Own business and product metrics: Define success metrics for your area, monitor performance, and make decisions that improve customer outcomes and business impact.

  • Work closely with engineering: Partner with senior engineers almost daily, debate technical trade-offs, and make informed product decisions that balance customer value, technical complexity, and delivery speed.

  • Lead customer discovery: Gather customer feedback, understand stakeholder needs, identify recurring problems, and translate insights into a clear product direction.

  • Translate ambiguity into execution: Turn broad goals and customer problems into well-defined initiatives, priorities, and product plans.

  • Make roadmap trade-offs: Decide what to build, what to prioritize, and what to defer based on customer impact, business value, technical constraints, and available resources.

  • Drive product delivery: Work closely with engineering to ensure the team ships the right solutions and that released features deliver the intended outcomes.

  • Mentor another Product Manager: Support and mentor the PM2 working within your product area, helping improve product thinking, execution, and decision-making.

  • Work with senior leadership: Collaborate directly with the CEO and VP of Product on product direction, prioritization, and major decisions.

  • Support rapid product development: Help the team launch new products and improve existing capabilities in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.

  • Improve AI-powered customer experiences: Contribute to products involving conversational AI, voice AI, digital assistants, and autonomous agents that resolve financial services workflows.

Ideal Candidate Background

Required Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional product management experience.

  • Experience owning a product area, subdomain, or initiative with responsibility beyond feature delivery.

  • Demonstrated ability to define priorities, build roadmaps, and make trade-offs independently.

  • Experience working closely with engineers and participating in technical discussions.

  • Ability to understand technical constraints and evaluate trade-offs without needing to be the engineer implementing the solution.

  • Experience conducting customer discovery and translating customer or stakeholder feedback into product requirements.

  • Ability to define success metrics and connect product decisions to measurable outcomes.

  • Strong execution skills, including coordinating development and ensuring that shipped features solve the intended problem.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and changing priorities.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain and defend product decisions.

  • Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco five days per week.

  • Ability to mentor or support the development of a more junior product manager.

Product Management Skills

  • Roadmap ownership: Can create, sequence, and defend a roadmap for a defined product area.

  • Prioritization: Can evaluate customer requests, business impact, technical complexity, and opportunity cost.

  • Product discovery: Can conduct discovery conversations, synthesize feedback, and identify high-value problems.

  • Technical collaboration: Comfortable discussing architecture, implementation trade-offs, dependencies, and technical constraints with senior engineers.

  • Metrics and outcomes: Can define success metrics, track product performance, and adjust priorities based on results.

  • Product execution: Can turn strategy into clear requirements, decisions, and shipped product capabilities.

  • Stakeholder management: Can align leadership, engineering, and customer-facing teams around priorities and decisions.

  • Communication: Can clearly articulate product rationale, trade-offs, priorities, and expected outcomes.

  • Mentorship: Able to guide a more junior PM and raise the quality of product thinking and execution.

Preferred Background

  • Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise software company.

  • Experience working on AI-powered products, generative AI, conversational AI, or agentic AI.

  • Experience with voice AI, virtual assistants, customer support automation, or autonomous workflow execution.

  • Experience building products for financial services, banking, credit unions, or other regulated industries.

  • Experience with products that integrate with enterprise systems or complex customer environments.

  • Experience working closely with senior engineers on technically complex products.

  • Experience in a Series A or other high-growth startup environment.

  • Experience launching new products or taking a product initiative from discovery through launch.

  • Experience managing product metrics and making roadmap decisions based on measurable outcomes.

  • Experience mentoring a junior product manager or supporting another PM's development.

Working Style and Culture

  • High ownership: Takes responsibility for product outcomes, not just the delivery of features.

  • First-principles thinking: Breaks down problems, questions assumptions, and develops a clear product rationale.

  • Strong product judgment: Can distinguish high-value opportunities from lower-priority requests.

  • Technically curious: Enjoys working with engineers and understanding the trade-offs behind implementation decisions.

  • Customer-focused: Uses customer feedback and discovery to shape product direction.

  • Outcome-oriented: Measures success through adoption, customer value, and business results.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity: Can create structure and direction when requirements are not fully defined.

  • Decisive: Makes informed decisions and can defend priorities when stakeholders disagree.

  • Collaborative: Works closely with engineering, product leadership, and customer-facing teams.

  • Mentorship-oriented: Helps junior PMs improve their decision-making, execution, and product skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary of $180,000–$210,000.

  • Competitive equity.

  • 100% company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • 401(k).

  • Daily meals at the office.

  • Relocation support of approximately $5,000–$10,000.

  • Opportunity to own a meaningful product area within a growing agentic AI platform.

  • Direct collaboration with the CEO, VP of Product, and senior engineers.

  • Opportunity to influence product strategy, roadmap decisions, and measurable business outcomes.

Why Join?

  • Own a product area: Take responsibility for a subdomain from discovery and roadmap planning through execution and outcomes.

  • Partner with strong engineers: Engage in technical discussions and make product decisions alongside senior engineers.

  • Build AI-powered products: Help shape conversational AI and agentic systems that resolve real customer requests.

  • Influence product direction: Have meaningful ownership over prioritization, sequencing, and roadmap trade-offs.

  • Drive measurable impact: Focus on product outcomes, customer value, and business metrics rather than simply shipping features.

  • Join a growing business: Help expand a cash-flow-positive, venture-backed platform serving financial institutions.
