Jabil is seeking a Media and Content Coordinator to work onsite in our Corporate Headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL.

 

How will you make an impact?

As a Media and Content Coordinator with Jabil, you will be responsible for supporting a variety of creative, results-driven content projects that help tell Jabil’s story to external stakeholders through media relations, social media, and other earned and owned platforms.

You will work closely with Jabil’s broader Enterprise Marketing and Communications team to ensure that the written and visual content is engaging and consistent across all platforms, helps establish trust with our audiences, and build and elevate Jabil’s reputation across industries.

 

What will you do?

• Write and edit content for various internal and external communications initiatives, including, but not limited to articles, blogs, white papers, video scripts, fact sheets, presentations, and advertisements.
• Research and draft media lists and pitch ideas to support Jabil’s media relations efforts.
• Support the development of Jabil’s enterprise social media content, including post ideation, storyboarding, and caption writing, with the opportunity to learn about photography, videography, and video editing for social media.
• Research evolving GEO/AEO best practices and support their implementation into all relevant content. 
• Coordinate with the Enterprise Marketing and Communications team, business marketing leads, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the timely delivery of assignments.
• Coordinate the ongoing maintenance and quality control for content on Jabil.com, including Jabil’s blog.
• Keep up to date with B2B content trends and advancements in technology.
• Proofread and edit content for thought leadership initiatives and others as needed.
• Coordinate additional projects in support of Jabil’s business needs, as needed.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

 

How will you get here?

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a similar field.
• At least 1 year of experience in content creation, corporate communications, marketing, or a similar field. Experience can be in an internship, co-op or similar type of role.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or similar field is a plus.
• Ability to provide a Portfolio of three or more relevant writing samples.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent writing skills, with expertise focused on producing engaging, quality materials that deliver the intended message(s).
• Knowledge of AP style.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a dynamic, rapidly shifting environment.
• Possesses a global perspective and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects in a fast-paced environment, while sticking to deadlines.
• Skill in gathering/synthesizing information from many sources, including conversations with subject matter experts.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and e-mail skills required.
