What you’ll do

As a Technical Director, Geotechnical, based in our Brisbane Office, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.  

• Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
• Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions
• Contribute to resilient and innovative and impactful engineering solutions
• Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance

What you’ll bring

• Provide technical leadership in the planning, design and delivery of complex geotechnical solutions, aligned with the Aurecon Blueprint.
• Bring recognised subject matter expertise in Geotechnical Design
• Lead by example — demonstrating inclusive leadership behaviours that inspire trust, collaboration and high performance, including mentorship and coaching of emerging professionals
• Champion safe, sustainable, resilient and impactful design outcomes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
• Be recognised internally and externally as a technical authority in Geotechnics, particularly when navigating complex technical challenges

• The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
• Major project experience with Department of Transport and Main Roads will be looked on favourably
