Technology Strategy
Define and own the enterprise marketing technology strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligned to business priorities, consumer experience goals, and enterprise architecture principles
Responsible for defining and enforcing marketing technology architecture, design, and governance standards across the marketing ecosystem to reduce fragmentation, technical debt, and drive efficiency and innovation
Lead and develop a team of domain experts spanning solution design, platform strategy, and workflow tooling, ensuring clear accountability and cohesion across capabilities
Responsible for the evaluation and prioritization of platform investments, enhancements, and retirements, balancing innovation, risk, cost, and long-term sustainability
Provide executive level guidance on technology tradeoffs, sequencing, and investment decisions to support informed leadership decision-making
Operational Excellence
Partner with IT, Security, Privacy, and Procurement to ensure marketing technology solutions are secure, compliant, and scalable within enterprise standards
Serve as the escalation point for complex cross-platform, integration, or architectural decisions, resolving conflicts and driving alignment
Ensure marketing technology platforms are interoperable and data-ready, supporting journey orchestration, personalization, and performance measurement
Establish governance mechanisms for vendor strategy, roadmap alignment, and capability evaluation across the marketing technology stack
Partner with Journey Architecture & Enablement and Consumer Data & Trust Operations to ensure technology strategy enables scalable, consent-aware personalization and activation
Embed enablement and adoption considerations into technology decisions so downstream teams can execute effectively without custom or manual work
Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending measured adoption where they deliver clear business or experience value
Team Leadership and Development
Lead and mentor a high-performing team that proactively identifies opportunities solutions for the customer's end-to-end experience, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team.
Fosters a performance-driven work environment, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and supporting ongoing development.
Provide guidance and coaching for team members, guiding them to advance their subject matter expertise and identify future leaders to meet business objectives.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Relevant platform or domain certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce, data governance, privacy, marketing technology). Specific certifications may vary by role.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, technology management, marketing, or a related field.
Experience Required:
8+ years preferred experience in marketing technology, consumer data, CRM, digital experience or related disciplines
3+ years of experience managing others required.
Has demonstrated knowledge and experience with marketing operations planning and execution
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Enterprise level understanding of marketing technology ecosystems (e.g., CRM, CDP, CMP, marketing automation, digital engagement platforms)
Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate business needs into scalable systems, standards, and frameworks
Experience operating in regulated environments with an understanding of privacy, consent, and governance principles
Proven ability to lead through influence and collaborate across IT, Security, Privacy, and business stakeholders
Strategic thinking with the ability to balance innovation, risk, scalability, and operational readiness
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess tradeoffs and guide informed decision-making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts to executive and non-technical audiences
Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in complex, matrixed organizations
