Key Responsibilities:
- Support formulation and process development through laboratory experimentation, material preparation, and testing activities.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes from laboratory-scale formulations through pilot production, ensuring scalability, robustness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineering, quality, commercial, sourcing, and supply chain, to develop, enhance, and commercialize new products and differentiated solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer applications, performance requirements, and manufacturing processes to deliver differentiated solutions.
- Research, investigate, and propose technical solutions to project-related challenges under the direction of senior scientists or project leaders.
- Conduct proof-of-concept studies and technology assessments for next-generation EMI materials and solutions.
- Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, technical literature, and patent landscapes to identify innovation opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, intellectual property protection, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
- A PhD degree or a master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related discipline.
- Preferred experience in the manufacturing processes of rubber-related materials, especially in dispensing and coating process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret experimental data.
- High learning agility, with the ability to adapt to new materials and processes.
- Excellent logical thinking and analytical problem-solving capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with proficiency in written, verbal, and presentation skills.
