SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR

• Previous experience as a switchboard operator or receptionist preferred.  

• Operates communications console, performs overhead pages, and is the hub for emergency management monitoring and crisis situations.  

• Ability to remain calm and perform duties efficiently under stress.  

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.  

• Manual dexterity.  

• Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate and interact with all age groups.  

• Computer skills required.   

• High school level of knowledge preferred.
