Description

As a Product Manager for Financial Services modules at Campana Systems, you will provide business-focused product leadership across the AXIS platform, supporting our AAA/CAA auto club clients. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will serve as the financial product lead across AXIS's three major domains — Membership, Road Service, and Travel — ensuring consistent payment processing, financial workflows, and reporting across the full product suite.

Key solution areas include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, dues billing, roadside service billing, travel transactions, payment processing, credit card handling, POS enablement, loyalty programs, and integration with third-party payment providers and external accounting systems.

This is a business-oriented product management role requiring strong domain expertise in financial operations, payment ecosystems, and POS environments, with a focus on delivering client value rather than technical implementation.

Preference will be given to candidates based in the Kitchener-Waterloo area who are able to work in a hybrid model and attend our Waterloo office as needed. Other candidates may be considered based on experience.

Campana Systems is part of the Gemini Group, one of the operating groups within Constellation Software Inc. (CSI). Being under CSI—a global leader in vertical market software—means we benefit from the stability, innovation, and long-term investment philosophy of a world-class software organization, while still operating with the agility and culture of a specialized team.

  • Act as the product lead for Financial Services capabilities within AXIS, defining product direction for membership dues and renewals, road service billing, and travel transactions and packaged sales.

  • Partner with AAA/CAA clients to understand financial processes — including billing, payments, reconciliation, and reporting — and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, member experience, and financial accuracy.

  • Translate client and business needs into clear product enhancements and functional requirements, collaborating with development and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business outcomes.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on credit card and digital payment processing, third-party payment gateways, and POS systems used in membership offices and travel retail environments.

  • Ensure consistency in financial workflows, reporting structures, and payment handling across the Membership, Road Service, and Travel modules.

  • Support client implementations by aligning product capabilities with business operations, including design validation, UAT support, and go-live readiness.

Qualifications

  • University degree, relevant college diploma, or equivalent business-focused experience.

  • Experience in software product management, business analysis, or solution consulting within enterprise applications.

  • Experience working in or with AAA/CAA organizations, auto clubs, or similar membership-based service organizations strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of payment processing ecosystems, including credit card processing, gateways, and transaction lifecycles, along with experience working with third-party payment providers.

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, reconciliation processes, and financial controls.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management, with the ability to translate business requirements into product outcomes.

  • Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and TeamSupport.

  • Willingness to travel across North America as required.
