Job Description
Credit Risk Management (Corporate and Commercial Banking) is responsible for implementing the Credit Risk Management function, providing recommendations to the Credit Committee.
Monitors and manages portfolio and individual transaction credit exposure, reviews credit-worthiness, and develops credit exposure methodologies in conjunction with risk analytic systems.
The Counterparty Credit Risk focus specializes in implementing the Credit Risk Management function, making recommendations to the Credit Committee for the Major Market Corporate Banking and/or Commercial Banking businesses.
The Risk Management function is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk. May include establishing risk management procedures and processes to ensure adherence to policies.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) highly preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in credit risk management within a financial institution, with at least 8 years in a leadership or senior management role.
Extensive knowledge of credit risk principles, methodologies, and best practices, including credit assessment, portfolio management, modeling, and regulatory capital requirements (e.g., Basel III).
Deep understanding of the Thai banking industry, local regulations (Bank of Thailand), and economic landscape.
Proven track record in developing and implementing effective credit risk strategies and frameworks.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis and risk modeling tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
Fluency in English and Thai (both written and spoken) is essential.
