Viakorp Corporation is seeking a qualified Engineering Tutor to provide evening academic support to cadets at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The tutor will assist students in understanding engineering principles, analytical methods, and technical coursework while promoting academic excellence.

Location: U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 33 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320
Schedule:
- Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- One additional weekday (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM) for faculty coordination and additional tutoring
- Services provided during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters
- Engineering Statistics
- Statics
- Deliver individual and group tutoring sessions in engineering subjects.
- Explain engineering concepts, calculations, and technical problem-solving techniques.
- Assist cadets with assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
- Maintain weekly tutoring documentation and attendance records.
- Meet with faculty each week to review course requirements and tutoring priorities.
- Notify instructors when students require additional academic intervention.
- Support student success through structured and professional tutoring services.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Minimum one (1) year of tutoring experience in higher education.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working alongside faculty in higher education.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
