JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
SUMMARY:The Sales Coordinator is responsible for increasing revenue and market share while developing ongoing relationships with new and existing customers. The Sales Coordinator will maintain periodic contact with a large portfolio of customers and be responsible for ensuring their experience with JAS is best in class in the industry. The analyst will support an assigned team of Business Development Manager (BDMs), grow share of wallet with existing customers and collaborate with Sales Team members and Operations teams to maximize sales and revenue growth opportunities within the assigned territory. The analyst will support the team of BDMs in developing our new customer base by providing the essential functions outlined below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead generation using JAS approved tools (ie Panjiva, LinkedIn, Seamless AI, etc.)
Cold calling & appointment scheduling for specific sales campaigns
Organizing & coordinating joint sales efforts involving overseas visitors or corporate sales
New account setup (ie credit/POA submissions & new account checklist updates)
Transition & implementation support
Customer training on the JAS suite of digital solutions available
SOP creation
QBR admin
Coordinating with pricing resources to ensure JAS offers meet customer requirements and are market competitive
Lead the transition of strategic accounts into the AM program for those that warrant AM resources
Other duties as may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a sales-oriented or support role.
Must have operational experience in freight forwarding or logistics – handling air and/or ocean shipments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerBI.
Cargowise knowledge is a plus.
Efficient organizational skills
Proficient written and verbal skills
Creative Presentation skills
Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, SmartHUB & CargoWise (C1)
Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong analytical skills - proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience working in a sales-oriented role
Experience working in logistics-oriented role
High school diploma required
College degree or equivalent experience preferred
Extra languages a plus

In accordance with Washington pay transparency laws, the annual compensation for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. This range reflects the base salary or wage, which may vary based upon, but not limited to factors such as education, experience, skills, proficiency, job performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
