EROAD's mission is to deliver intelligence you can trust, for a better world tomorrow.
We're looking for a commercially minded Sourcing Manager (Indirect) to lead strategic sourcing activity across Indirect Commodities and services, while supporting broader supply chain priorities across our growing global business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, this role is responsible for developing and executing indirect sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring supplier capability supports both current and future business requirements.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to lead RFQ/RFP processes, assess supplier markets, manage sourcing risks, and support commercial decisions that drive value, quality, and supply chain performance.
In this role you will:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Indirect Commodities, services, and assigned supplier categories
Lead indirect supplier identification, evaluation, selection, onboarding, and ongoing commercial relationship management
Lead RFQ, RFP, tender, and negotiation processes to secure competitive pricing, favourable commercial terms, and appropriate supplier commitments
Analyse spends, demand, supplier markets, cost drivers, and supply risks to identify sourcing opportunities and improvement initiatives
Partner with Finance, Legal, People & Culture, IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure sourcing decisions meet business and compliance requirements
Monitor supplier performance, market movements, cost trends, and supply risks, escalating and mitigating issues as required
Build and maintain supplier pipelines and alternative sourcing options to improve resilience and continuity of supply
Maintain accurate sourcing, supplier, contract, and commercial information to support governance and reporting
What You'll Bring
A commercially minded and proactive approach, with the ability to balance cost, quality, service, innovation, and risk
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to present sourcing, supplier, and commercial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels
A collaborative working style, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence outcomes across cross-functional teams and external suppliers
An analytical and data-led mindset, with a natural ability to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement
Strong accountability and the drive to manage multiple sourcing initiatives through to completion
The ability to work effectively under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
A positive, can-do attitude with a total quality mindset and a determination to deliver results
5+ years' experience in sourcing, procurement, strategic supplier management, category management, Indirect Commodities, or a similar supply chain role
