We are searching for the best talent for an Associate Director, Global RWE - Study Execution Lead 

 

Purpose: 

The Associate Director, Global Real-World Evidence (GRWE), Study Execution Lead (SEL) role is within the Global Real World Evidence (GRWE) team which sits in Global Commercial Strategy Office under Global Medical Affairs. This role reports to the Vice President, Global Real-World Evidence and serves as a key partner in translating strategy into execution. 

The SEL is responsible for operational leadership of the GRWE portfolio, ensuring studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The role is responsible for study operations, portfolio tracking, budget management, vendor oversight, and implementation of standardized processes that improve consistency, efficiency, and transparency across the GRWE organization. In addition the role will also support the scale-up of GRWE CoE capabilities by developing standardized research solutions, managing the internal analytics hub, and enhancing transparency through integrated project management and tracking. 

 

 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Serving as a key advisor/partner to the Vice President of GRWE and support the overall strategic and operational aspects and budget of the GRWE. 

  • Partnering with the VP of GRWE and GRWE LT to develop and implement the GRWE vision, mission, strategic priorities, and operating framework, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and future-state capabilities. 

  • Partnering with GRWE leadership team on strategic initiatives to evolve the GRWE operating model, including governance structures, decision-making processes, ways of working, and cross-functional engagement models across Global, Regional, and Local organizations. 

  • Streamline portfolio processes, including RW evidence gap identification, study prioritization, resource allocation, and investment planning as part of the WW IEGP process (in partnership with TRex Team). 

  • Support development and execution of cross-therapeutic area RW evidence roadmaps that align evidence generation activities with key business, medical, market access, and adoption decisions throughout the product lifecycle. 

  • Drive alignment across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial, R&D, and Regional RWE teams to ensure coordinated RW Evidence planning and execution through the establishment of asset-specific GRWE Working Groups. 

  • Work with Disease Leads across TAs to develop and maintain standardized RW evidence-generation frameworks, master protocols, protocol templates, and methodological toolkits to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency across GRWE studies. 

  • Drive adoption of common study design standards, operational definitions, and analytical approaches across therapeutic areas and regions. 

  • Support development of educational materials, training programs, and stakeholder engagement resources to enhance RWE literacy across functions and regions. 

  • Create and maintain GRWE communication assets, including capability decks, playbooks, and evidence-generation guidance materials. Collaborate with Disease Leads across TAs to develop evidence synthesis packages and disseminations toolkits including WISE materials. 

 

Qualifications / Requirements: 

Key Requirements: 

  • Advanced degree required (MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD, DrPH, or equivalent). 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of program or project management experience within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, or related industries. 

  • Experience managing clinical research, real-world evidence studies, or observational research programs. 

  • Experience managing external vendors and research partners. 

  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills. 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. 

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. 

 

Preferred: 

  • Experience supporting global evidence generation programs. 

  • Experience implementing operational processes, standards, or continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Ability to work effectively across global, regional, and local teams. 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build partnerships across functions and levels of leadership. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to execution excellence.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$137,000.00 - $235,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
