Your responsibilities
Build something with us
Together with our international Finance team, you'll help bring the accounting function for our German entity in-house, step by step. You'll actively shape processes, contribute to building a scalable finance organization, and create the financial foundation for our continued growth.
You'll work directly with our Vice President Finance, giving you insight into the strategic decisions of an international company. You'll collaborate closely with our Finance team in Belgium and our external accounting partners. Over time, you'll take ownership of the accounting activities that are currently outsourced for our German GmbH and help establish efficient, scalable finance processes.
This isn't just another accounting role – you'll help develop and improve the finance organization of a rapidly growing international business while working with SAP, DATEV and Sage.
Day-to-day Accounting
- Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger accounting
- Process payments and manage the dunning/collections process
- Prepare monthly and annual closing activities
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts
- Support the implementation of SAP
- Drive process improvements and standardization
- Support internal and external audits
What your team does
Your profile
We're looking for someone with strong accounting expertise who wants to help build the financial foundation for EP Equipment's next stage of growth.
- Languages: You communicate confidently in both German and English.
- Experience: You have several years of accounting experience within a German GmbH, including German GAAP (HGB) accounting and German tax accounting. Experience with import/export accounting is a plus.
- Audits: You have experience supporting international audits. Knowledge of IFRS reporting is an advantage.
- Systems: You're comfortable working with financial software such as SAP, DATEV Unternehmen Online and ideally Sage.
- Travel: You're happy to spend approximately one day per month with our Finance team in Belgium.
- Mindset: You enjoy improving processes, identifying opportunities and contributing ideas that support the company's growth and financial performance.
