About the team
Network Services forms part of the Information Technology Department and is responsible for managing critical network and telecommunications services that support the Bank's operations.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Network Services, this newly created role will provide dedicated finance and administration support across a diverse portfolio of technology and telecommunications suppliers. You will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, technical managers and external vendors to improve financial governance, contract administration, reporting and supplier management processes.
In addition to supplier and financial administration, the role will support team governance reporting, records management and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across finance, procurement, administration and business operations while helping to improve processes, strengthen governance outcomes and support a high-performing technology team.
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
- Validate and reconcile supplier invoices, purchase orders and contract documentation.
- Coordinate contract renewals, extensions and vendor administration activities.
- Monitor contract utilisation, expenditure, funding consumption and renewal obligations.
- Prepare regular management reports, dashboards and briefing material to support decision making.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation to meet audit and compliance requirements.
- Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, reporting and financial controls.
- Support the preparation and administration of budgets, forecasts and financial planning activities.
- Maintain document repositories, procedures and operational records to ensure information remains accurate and current.
- General administrative activity as required.
About you
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Experience in finance administration, accounts payable, procurement administration, contract administration or commercial operations.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience managing invoices, purchase orders, contracts and supplier records.
- Experience preparing reports, dashboards and management information for operational or governance purposes.
- Well-developed stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work across multiple business areas.
- Strong Excel and reporting capabilities, with experience using data to identify trends and support decision making.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow issues through to resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting a busy operational team.
- A proactive approach to process improvement and continuous improvement.
