Vendor Management Senior Specialist

 

We are seeking a Vendor Management Senior Specialist to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As the Vendor Management Senior Specialist, you will onboard new vendors and services, assisting the Business Stakeholders with required risk assessments, and working with other internal stakeholders and manage tight deadlines and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

We will count on you to:

• Assist in the ongoing maturity and enforcement of Vendor Management's governance model, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Ensure all vendor activity complies with the company's policies and procedures, educating Business Partners when necessary to promote consistent governance.
• Enforce compliance with the Vendor Management program throughout the entire vendor lifecycle, collaborating with Business Partners to provide guidance, support, and corrective action when needed.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of various third-party related risks and evaluate the presence or absence of controls; appropriately report, monitor, and mitigate identified risks in collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Measure the risk and criticality associated with each new and renewing vendor engagement to determine required contract components and controls that safeguard the organization.
• Monitor contractual agreements and vendor performance, collaborating with Business Partners to ensure strategic opportunities are leveraged and contractual commitments are met.

 

 

What you need to have:

 

• Demonstrated familiarity with vendor management and governance methodologies.
• Experience of working with stakeholders across different geographies.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to plan, assign tasks, evaluate, and report on progress toward objectives.
• Demonstrated self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and coordinate with remote teams.
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization.
• Critical thinker with a solution-driven mindset and problem-solving orientation using sound judgment.
• Advanced level of English is a must.
