Production Manager (3rd Shift)

Brighton Solutions is conducting a search for a Production Manager with a Cleveland commercial laundry operation serving healthcare customers. This leader is responsible for facility production performance, quality control, safety, and the day-to-day management of hourly employees.

Location compensation and benefits

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity based at a commercial laundry facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Annual compensation is $50,000–$57,000. The schedule may vary and requires availability for weekends and holidays and occasional hours beyond 40 per week.

What you will do

• Manage production work across laundry receiving, cleaning, and distribution, and assist in operating areas as needs change.
• Set work priorities, assign and direct employees, monitor schedule adherence, and manage performance against production, quality, safety, and service measures.
• Train new hires in production procedures before independent work and continue to develop, mentor, and assess employees.
• Inspect linen for quality, repair, or disposal and assist with periodic inventories.
• Complete end of shift, weekly, and other required reports; document performance concerns and partner with Human Resources on evaluations and staffing actions.
• Maintain a safe, respectful workplace by enforcing procedures, reinforcing safety awareness, and monitoring applicable operational requirements.
• Communicate business expectations and operating results clearly to employees and the Operations Manager.
• High school diploma and five years of supervisory or management experience; commercial laundry or a similar production environment is preferred.
• Experience leading and training hourly employees in a fast paced operation with changing priorities.
• Practical judgment in production planning, quality control, safety, employee coaching, and performance documentation.
• Clear communication with employees, customers, and suppliers; working proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Windows based tools.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional hours beyond 40 per week as business needs require.

Work setting

The role involves extensive walking and periodic stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds is required. Regular, on time attendance is essential. No license or designation is required.
