Summary:

Join our Environmental Services team and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of essential cleaning and environmental services duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection prevention throughout the facility. Responsibilities:

• Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
• Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste, and performing cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrates awareness and understanding of the PI Program, Excellence in Action, Competencies, and the Mission & Vision of PRMC.
• Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
• Reports pertinent information to the supervisor or appropriate authority.
• Performs departmental record keeping.
• Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.
• Performs floor care.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma and/or GED. 

Less than one year experience in institutional housekeeping
