Production Associate, Little Rock Plant, Alexander, AR

Starting pay: $20.62

Shift: 2nd, 2pm-12:30am

The Production Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient labeling of products in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves working collaboratively with team members to ensure that all products are labeled correctly and that labeling processes are adhered to, contributing to the overall quality and compliance of the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Labeling Operations:
  • Operate labeling machinery and equipment to apply labels to products.
  • Ensure that labels are applied accurately and in compliance with company specifications and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor labeling processes for quality assurance and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
• Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular inspections of labeled products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Verify that labels contain the correct information, including product name, ingredients, expiration dates, and barcodes.
  • Assist in maintaining labeling records and documentation as required.
• Inventory Management:
  • Assist in managing labeling supplies and materials, ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Report any shortages or issues with labeling materials to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with other departments, including production and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any labeling concerns or suggestions for process improvements.
• Compliance and Safety:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing labeling tasks.
  • Participate in training sessions related to labeling processes, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in manufacturing or quality control is a plus.
• Previous experience in a labeling or production environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Basic understanding of labeling regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capability to lift and move materials as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Manual dexterity to handle labeling equipment and materials effectively.
• Ability to bend and reach as necessary during labeling operations.
• Ability to walk upstairs as required in the work environment.

Work Environment:

• The role is typically performed in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, with exposure to machinery and equipment.
• Employees may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures.
