Position Summary
The Sales Manager, Vaccines will lead the commercial strategy and performance of the vaccines medical promotion organization across Colombia and Multicountries Market. The role leads District Managers supporting pediatric and adult vaccines teams and is accountable for building leadership capability, strengthening commercial execution, and delivering sustainable business growth.
This leader will also identify and develop new opportunities in the private market, including innovative access and commercialization models that complement traditional medical promotion. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Finance, and Compliance, the role will translate strategic priorities into executable plans and help shape the future of the vaccines business.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead and develop District Managers across Colombia and Multicountries Market, creating a culture of high performance, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement succession and talent development initiatives, identify future leaders, and provide ongoing field coaching.
- Lead execution of the commercial strategy for pediatric and adult vaccines, monitoring performance and taking timely action to support sales, market share, and growth objectives.
- Identify, design, and execute new growth opportunities across corporate vaccination programs, special healthcare schemes, special populations, private healthcare institutions, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead the commercial strategy for customers managed by the vaccines promotional organization, including growth planning, strategic negotiations, and key account development.
- Translate business priorities into executable plans and lead planning, forecasting, and business review processes for assigned customers.
- Partner across Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Finance, and Compliance, and contribute to Pediatric and Adult Vaccines Brand Teams
Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or related
- 5+ years of successful experience in similar roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience leading commercial teams and developing leaders and managers.
- Proven track record of sustained business growth.
- Experience working in matrix organizations and developing and implementing commercial strategies.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, including the ability to influence, communicate, and present effectively at senior leadership levels.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- MBA, postgraduate specialization, or additional training in leadership, organizational development, or commercial management.
- Experience in vaccines, including pediatric and adult vaccine markets.
- Experience developing new business opportunities or commercial channels.
- Regional or multi-country experience across multicountry markets.
- Experience leading remote and indirect teams.
Working model and location
Based in Colombia, this hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of field engagement, remote work, and office collaboration. The position involves regular travel across assigned territories, providing the opportunity to build strong relationships with external experts, healthcare professionals, and clinical sites while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
