Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post orders, and providing directions or assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
