Job Summary

The Marketing Intern supports Crystal Group’s marketing initiatives by assisting with content development, digital marketing, market research, event coordination, employer branding, and campaign execution. This position will help communicate Crystal Group’s capabilities, culture, and value to customers, prospective employees, industry partners, and other key audiences.

Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, the intern will gain hands-on experience developing marketing materials, supporting social media and website content, researching industry trends, coordinating events, and tracking campaign performance. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Strategy and collaborates with departments across the organization.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the development of marketing content for social media, email campaigns, websites, presentations, newsletters, advertisements, and other communication channels.
• Draft and edit copy that communicates Crystal Group’s products, capabilities, culture, and employee-ownership story.
• Support the planning, scheduling, and publishing of organic social media content.
• Help maintain and update website content, product information, employee stories, and other digital resources.
• Assist with photography, video, and other visual-content projects highlighting Crystal Group’s products, employees, events, and culture.
• Support employer-branding initiatives designed to attract prospective employees and interns.
• Assist with the development and organization of sales and marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, product sheets, case studies, and promotional items.
• Conduct research on customers, competitors, industry trends, target markets, and potential business opportunities.
• Monitor competitor websites, press releases, social media, advertising, and trade-show activity.
• Summarize research findings and help identify relevant trends, audience needs, and potential marketing opportunities.
• Support the planning and execution of trade shows, customer events, career fairs, community events, and internal company activities.
• Assist with event logistics, promotional materials, registrations, communications, and post-event follow-up.
• Help maintain marketing calendars, project plans, contact lists, digital assets, and campaign documentation.
• Enter and maintain accurate information within marketing, customer relationship management, and project-management systems.
• Track marketing activity and assist with reporting on campaign results, website traffic, social media engagement, event performance, and other key metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, People & Culture, Program Management, and other teams to gather information and support marketing projects.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns, content, events, and brand awareness.
• Perform other duties and marketing projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. person, defined as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted protected-person status.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, graphic design, or a related field.
• Junior or senior standing at the time of the internship.
• Ability to work full-time and on-site for the duration of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous marketing, communications, social media, event-planning, or business-related experience.
• Experience creating written, visual, video, or social media content.
• Familiarity with graphic-design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Exposure to website content management, email marketing, customer relationship management, or marketing-automation systems.
• Experience supporting student organizations, campus events, volunteer initiatives, or employer-branding activities.
• Interest in technology, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or business-to-business marketing.

Working Conditions

Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional exposure to manufacturing and testing areas. The position may require standing for extended periods during events and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
