All about the role:

The Senior Tax Analyst plays a key role within the Electrolux North America Income Tax Team, supporting the Company’s income tax accounting and compliance processes. A substantial portion of the role, particularly during quarter-end and year-end periods, will focus on the income tax provision, with the balance of responsibilities covering estimated tax payments, income tax compliance, fixed assets, book-to-tax differences, and other federal and state income tax matters. This position will also support tax-related activities for the Electrolux Midea joint ventures as well as collaborate with accounting, finance, legal, and other business partners. This position is based at the Electrolux North America headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and offers a flexible hybrid work environment.

What you’ll do: 

As our Senior Tax Analyst, you will execute key day-to-day income tax accounting and compliance activities for Electrolux North America, including:

• Prepare the quarterly and annual income tax provision, including current and deferred tax calculations, tax account reconciliations, effective tax rate analysis, and supporting workpapers and tax packages
• Prepare estimated tax payment and extension calculations for U.S. federal, Canada and Puerto Rico, and coordinate timely payments
• Analyze and prepare book-to-tax differences for corporations and partnerships
• Prepare, coordinate or manage fixed assets related work for tax
• Prepare federal and state income tax compliance workpapers, gather and validate source data for external preparers
• Execute tax-related activities for the Electrolux Midea joint ventures, collaborating with joint venture finance teams and external advisors
• Coordinate with accounting, finance, treasury, legal, and other business partners to obtain, analyze, and reconcile data used in tax calculations and reporting
• Prepare supporting schedules, workpapers, and explanations for external auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements, including opportunities to standardize, streamline, and automate tax accounting and compliance procedures
• Perform other tax-related duties and support special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of corporate income tax or relevant public accounting experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and data reconciliation skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

• Income tax accounting experience preferred
• Certified Public Accountant or CPA candidate preferred
• Experience with partnership or joint venture taxation is a plus
• ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Income Tax, SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel experience are a plus
