As a Security Officer Part Time Alarm Panel Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns, report observations, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
