Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Software Engineer (.NET) to join our ever-evolving technology team and help build, enhance, and modernize enterprise business applications that power global commerce.
What you’ll own
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level business systems using C#, .NET Framework, and modern .NET technologies.
- Build and support scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, Web Services, WCF services, and system integration solutions to meet business and customer requirements.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and Engineering, to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
- Investigate and resolve system issues related to performance, stability, security, and scalability while contributing to technical documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, or modern .NET technologies.
- Strong experience designing and integrating Web Services, WCF, SOAP, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
- Solid expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, indexing, stored procedures, transactions, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, software architecture principles, and best development practices.
- Experience working with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular, or strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and codebases.
- Excellent communication skills, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership.
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience developing or supporting enterprise platforms in Retail, Restaurant, ERP, CRM, POS, or related industries.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, Dapper, or other ORM frameworks.
- Experience optimizing SQL Server performance in large-scale or high-concurrency environments.
- Knowledge of IIS, Windows Server, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Azure, AWS, or other cloud and DevOps technologies.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications, including .NET Framework migration, WCF service transformation, and integration platform enhancement.
- Ability to read and understand English technical documentation.
