The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting all aspects exterior and interior housekeeping duties while supporting grounds, maintenance, and providing set-up services, as requested/needed. Position may require work during after-hours and weekends.
- Prioritize and conduct routine preventive housekeeping duties on buildings, building components and equipment as assigned through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Review and request updates to the PM Task List with the Housekeeping Director, when needed.
- Prioritize, create, and complete non-PM work ordersassigned through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Compliance with college-issued mobile device(s) protocol: device(s) is/are required for communication, work completion, and must be fully charged and available for use throughout staff member’s entire work schedule.
- Prioritize and conduct general housekeeping of buildings, building components and equipment while reporting other observed required maintenance needs to the Director of Housekeeping.
- Conduct routine housekeeping maintenance of assigned areas continually throughout the day. This includes, but is not limited to: emptying all exterior/interior trash cans and cigarette urns; cleaning entry lobbies, sidewalks, breezeways, courtyards, parking areas, and grounds; cleaning tables, counters, chairs, floors, etc. in the dining and lounge areas of the Dempsey Student Center, and thoroughly cleaning and restocking restrooms in all buildings on a revolving schedule, as determined by the Director of Housekeeping.
- Conduct minor maintenance to equipment, hardware, and fixtures including tightening screws, replacing vacuum belts, replacing lamps, etc., and reporting other required maintenance to the Director of Housekeeping.
- Assist with furniture and furnishing moves, especially for set-ups for special events.
- Assist grounds and maintenance, as needed and directed by Director of Housekeeping.
- Perform routine housekeeping duties during inclement weather in addition to storm clean-up, storm notification or evacuation, snow removal, etc. These duties are required during times the school is closed due to the inclement weather.
- Report to campus following inclement weather events to clean and remove snow and ice. [Exception: Office staff are not required to report following inclement weather events.]

- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform light to heavy duty housekeeping tasks.
- Experience using mobile device technology including apps, messaging, etc.
- Ability to participate in safety and housekeeping training and to comprehend and practice it in the course of duty.
- Ability to interact, communicate and maintain effective relations with students, the public, faculty, and staff.
Ability to follow guidelines/directives and maintain a neat and professional appearance.
