As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, access-control matters, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or policy violations, and document incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
