We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and established operation in Wellingborough.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position will involve manual handling and regular heavy lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is important.

THE ROLE

You'll support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and prepared accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Manual handling and lifting of potentially heavy goods.
• Checking incoming goods against delivery paperwork.
• Picking and preparing customer orders.
• Packing and labelling goods ready for dispatch.
• Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse.
• Preparing goods for collection and delivery.
• Assisting with vehicle loading where required.
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records and system information.
• Working closely with sales, production and transport teams.
• Ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following all company Health & Safety and manual-handling procedures.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable and physically capable, with a positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution experience.
• Experience with manual handling and lifting.
• The physical capability to safely handle heavy or bulky items throughout the working day.
• Good attention to detail.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• Good organisation and time-management skills.
• The ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety.

Forklift experience/licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
