Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 5.00pm and Fridays, 8.30am - 4.30pm
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established soft furnishings company in Welham Green who are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy team.
This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The role involves picking and packing, stock replenishment and regular heavy lifting. It would also suit candidates who have worked as a Warehouse Assistant, Picker Packer, Stores Operative, Goods In Operative, Dispatch Operative, Logistics Operative or Distribution Operative looking for a long-term opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Carry out stock replenishment throughout the warehouse
- Load, unload and move stock safely
- Complete heavy lifting as part of your daily duties
- Prepare orders ready for dispatch
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
- Assist with stock checks and inventory when required
- Work as part of the warehouse team to meet daily targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse operative experience
- Confident with picking and packing duties
- Experience with stock replenishment
- Comfortable carrying out regular heavy lifting
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable with a positive attitude
- Able to work well as part of a team
