Assistant Manager – Corporate HSEQ

Position : Assistant Manager - Corporate HSEQ (Qatari nationals)

Job Objective : Implement HSEQ strategy and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements within the assigned site through operational management of HSEQ resources.  Lead and develop site based operational resources to assure best-practice and regulatory compliance within the designated operational site.  Provide technical advice to business unit in order to allow them to reduce liability, operate in legal conformity to contract, upgrade operations, gain or maintain international standards and implement management systems.

Education & Professional Qualification:
- 3-year Full Time Degree in Health and Safety from a recognised institution; or
- 3-year Full Time Degree (Associated Degree) from a recognised institution and a
2-year Full Time Graduate Diploma in Health and Safety; or
- 3-year Full Time Degree (Associated Degree) from a recognised institution and NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; or
- 3-year Full Time Degree (Associated Degree) from a recognised institution and Chartered member of IOSH

Preferred
- Auditor qualification (possible Lead Audit) for ISO accreditation framework
- Root Cause Analysis certification is preferred
- Training and Assessment qualification at Level 4 or higher is preferred
- First Aid certification is preferred

Professional Experience:
- 6 - 9 years of experience of which 5 years as HSE professional in heavy industry
- At least years of experience with management accountability of site HSEQ operational functions
