Position Summary 

The Inside Sales team member will work independently, under the direction of the Operations Manager at Boyer Sales & Service, to provide technical support, item and project quotes, and coordinate with Field Sales and Field Service to ensure all quotes include the necessary information to meet the customer’s application needs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Receive and review customer inquiries for products and service
• Inquiries will occur via phone, email and in-person conversations, which will include project bid packages
• Research end-use specifications and provide quotes for products and services to meet customer needs
• Develop and provide to customer the quotes as required, or exceptions as noted
• Capture and track all quotes in central ERP system for future follow up and conversion to sales orders
• Receive and evaluate incoming purchase orders for accuracy and terms & conditions
• Follow up with vendors on delivery timing as needed to keep customer updated
• Research shipments and delivery information, in coordination with customer and Boyer Service, to ensure timely project deliverables
• Troubleshooting over the phone for pumps and equipment as may be required.
• Any reasonable request by management.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• High School Diploma - or the equivalent
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Steady work history
• Ability to work in a team
• Positive communication skills
• Stand for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50lbs

· Shift/hours: Full time 1st shift 8:00am-5:00pm Monday- Friday
