Job Description
Job Summary:
The position in an ETO environment contributes to translating unique customer requirements into efficient and reliable manufacturing processes. You will lead process development, production readiness, and continuous improvement programs to ensure on time delivery of high quality, custom engineered solutions.
You will report to our Manufacturing Team Lead located in Monterrey, Mexico.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the development and validation of manufacturing processes for custom-engineered and standard products.
- Collaborate with design engineering to review and influence product designs for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiency.
- Develop manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions (or visual aids), Diagram Flow, PFMEA.
- Develop and implement jigs, fixtures, and specialized tooling to improve quality, safety, efficiency and productivity.
- Support new product introductions (NPI's) and ensure smooth transition from engineering design to manufacturing floor.
- Identify and lead process improvements to reduce lead times, minimize waste, and increase resources.
- Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support root cause analysis and for non-conformities and process deviations.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process design, core tools and other process improvements methodologies.
Proficient in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing data analysis tools.
Project management experiencie
Familiarity with quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with ISO/AS standard compliance requirements and industry 4.0 technologies.
