Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Validation in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and visitors entering and exiting the food and beverage distribution location.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing authorized individuals to appropriate check-in and receiving areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, receiving areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
