Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Valid Driver's LicenseAll candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of job responsibilities.
Access Control/Badge ExperienceCandidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). Familiarity with these systems is crucial for maintaining security protocols within the organization.
Alarm Panel ExperienceExperience with alarm panel systems (B202) is required for positions that involve monitoring or responding to security alarms. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm operations and emergency response procedures.
Comfortable Using Computer or TabletProficiency in using computers or tablets (B204) is necessary for all roles. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications and performing tasks efficiently on digital devices.
CPR CertificationCandidates must hold a current CPR certification (B205). This certification is vital for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and clients in emergency situations.
Customer Service ExperienceA background in customer service (B219) is essential for roles that involve direct interaction with clients or customers. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related hazards to appropriate campus personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
