As a Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will communicate observations, respond to incidents, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, garages, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, maintaining awareness of authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractor activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate property contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
