Key Responsibilities:- Lead process transformation, automation, and business improvement initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery schedules.
- Manage project scope, priorities, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting frameworks, and delivery controls.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Business, Operations, Technology, and external vendors.
- Maintain RAID logs and drive mitigation plans to address project risks and issues.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings, stakeholder discussions, and management reporting activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, and milestones.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, drive decision-making, and support issue resolution.
- Coordinate solution implementation, deployment planning, and business readiness activities.
- Oversee UAT planning, execution, defect management, and business sign-off processes.
- Track project benefits, productivity improvements, and FTE savings realization.
- Ensure project documentation, governance artifacts, and status reports are maintained and up to date.
- Support regional project coordination across countries, business units, and functional teams.
- Drive escalations and ensure timely resolution of project issues and delivery challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager, PMO Manager, Program Manager, Business Transformation Consultant, or similar role.
- Proven experience leading transformation, change, or strategic initiatives within Banking or Financial Services environments.
- Strong track record in managing end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
- Experience managing project scope, timelines, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance processes.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Technology, and external vendors.
- Experience preparing project status reports, management updates, and executive-level presentations.
- Experience delivering digital transformation, workflow automation, process optimization, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Knowledge of banking products and operations, including Loans, Trade Finance, Remittance, KYC, AML, or related processes, will be an advantage.
- Experience in Business Process Reengineering (BPR), operational excellence, or process transformation initiatives is preferred.
- Exposure to automation technologies, workflow solutions, or continuous improvement programs is desirable.
- Understanding of Power Platform, Power Apps, Workflow Automation, AI, or OCR solutions will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with Japanese language proficiency would be highly preferred, as this would be an added advantage in supporting effective communication and collaboration with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
