Senior Legal Operations Consultant

As the LEGO Group continues to grow, so does the demand for high-quality legal support. This role sits within the newly established Tax & Legal Operations team as part of our global Business Services Operations function.
As a Senior Legal Operations Consultant, your primary focus will be to support contract drafting, review, and negotiation across multiple business areas, ensuring efficient and scalable legal service delivery across the region.

Core responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts across China and the APAC region, including marketing, regional sales, procurement and real estate agreements.
- Provide practical legal consulting and advisory support to business stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions and manage legal risk effectively.
- Support marketing-related legal matters, including the review of consumer-facing materials, campaign and promotion mechanics, sweepstakes and related documentation.
- Support routine corporate secretarial and entity administration matters across the region.
- Ensure legal accuracy, alignment with corporate policies and compliance with internal standards and governance frameworks.
- Proactively identify and escalate material legal risks where appropriate.
- Translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support the standardisation and continuous improvement of legal processes, including playbooks, templates and negotiation guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and optimisation of legal technology platforms and tools.
Do you have what it takes?
- Law degree, such as an LL.B., J.D. or LL.M., with admission to a relevant local bar, such as the Singapore Bar
- 2–6 years of legal experience gained in a law firm, in-house legal team or global corporate environment.
- Solid knowledge of, and experience with, general corporate matters, procurement, marketing, sales and e-commerce.
- Strong hands-on experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts across multiple legal areas.
- Experience from a similar role within a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Collaborative, proactive and curious, with a strong sense of ownership and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced, regional environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for non-legal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with MS Office and confidence working with legal technology platforms.
- Interest in developing expertise in legal operations, including process optimisation, legal technology and the use of AI and digital tools to improve legal service delivery.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with contract management or contract lifecycle management tools.
- Experience working in an international, multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Fluency in additional languages, with Mandarin strongly preferred.
