What you'll do...
Role summary:The Manager, Supply Chain Management, oversees the efficient flow of merchandise through distribution networks and fulfillment centers by resolving operational issues and analyzing data to enhance network performance. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to optimize supply chain execution, managing exceptions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires leadership in supervising associates, fostering accountability, and ensuring compliance with company standards. By leveraging strategic insights and process improvements, the manager supports business goals related to inventory, profitability, and customer satisfaction while promoting innovation and operational excellence across the supply chain.
About the team:
The team manages inbound shipments for Walmart’s eCommerce and 3rd party marketplace divisions, focusing on efficient product flow into fulfillment centers and domestic LTL shipments. Reporting to senior leadership, the manager leads senior analysts to enhance supply chain processes through data analysis, root cause resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. The team prioritizes operational excellence, clear communication, and continuous improvement to support business growth. Members apply expertise in supply chain management, process optimization, and supplier relationship management to drive effective solutions and sustainable results across Walmart’s domestic inbound transportation network.
What you'll do:
- Manage supply chain processes to ensure efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers.
- Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and return issues.
- Develop and approve supply chain flow paths to optimize sales, in-stock levels, and profitability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align supply chain strategy with business goals and resolve order exceptions and disruptions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
- Supervise and develop associates, fostering accountability and operational excellence.
- Communicate operational expectations and provide guidance to suppliers, transporters, and field teams.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience managing supply chain processes and optimizing merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data from multiple stakeholders and identify root causes of supply chain exceptions.
- Expertise in supplier relationship management and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve sales, inventory, and profitability goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and implement innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Effective leadership skills to develop, mentor, and motivate associates while fostering accountability and continuous learning.
- Proficiency in operations management, supply chain strategy, and applying lean concepts to reduce costs and waste.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
