As a Security Officer TWIC Compliance in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue or retrieve access materials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, inspect documentation as required, and direct authorized traffic in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, perimeter areas, and chemical or petrochemical location grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
