INVENTORY CONTROLLER

SHORT ROLE DESCRIPTION
To ensure end to end stock management. To accurately plan activities that ensure that stock is available timeously at different locations and to the market to avoid OOS (out of stocks) or overstocks. To ensure stock accuracy between distributors and the company and to maintain optimum stock levels to avoid over / under stocking in different locations. Managing the relationships with third party service providers to ensure system accuracy and optimal stockholding in line with set Arcera standards This role reports to Supply Chain Operations Team Lead
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure stock accuracy by efficient alignment of company’s stock control systems and distributors.
• Reduction of stock provisions by identifying/detecting short dated and expired stock and communicating with the relevant departments.
• Ensure stock is at the right place at the right time so that it is available for sales (all related stock movements).
• Management of distributors at an inventory level. • Local reporting on Inventory • Master data accuracy (at distributor and inventory system) • Inventory oversight at distributor level and related activities, i.e. stock receipt,
movement, destruction, cycle and annual counts, reconciliations, returns, etc. • Back-order releases and stock status management • Management of expired stock / other stock to be destroyed, in terms of physically
counting stock and giving permission to write stock off.

• Ad-hoc activities as may be assigned by authorized managers and supervisors • Support global logistics and inventory projects. • Ensure that the relevant training has been completed according to the training plan. • Forwarding of all received Product Quality Complaints, Adverse Events and Medical
Enquiries to the relevant person in Quality Assurance/ Pharmacovigilance/ Medical Affairs.
KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Related bachelor’s degree • Minimum of 5 years warehouse, inventory, distribution experience within a
pharmaceutical environment • Effective Verbal and Written Communication • Ability to manage time effectively • Advanced Interpersonal Skills • Excellent analytical skills • Computer Literacy – MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Embodies Our Arcera Values & Behaviours in all internal and external interactions.
