JOB SUMMARY
This job identifies, develops, and directs a portfolio of projects designed to meet/exceed key performance metrics (e.g., admin cost reduction, process improvement, medical cost/value improvement, and enhanced customer/provider experience) for a particular business unit(s) within the organization. The incumbent will drive the overall project execution and is responsible for all deliverables, outputs, and short/long-term results, even during the implementation phase of work. The incumbent demonstrates deep knowledge of consulting principles and the delivery of practical outcomes from prior engagements and industries and is adept at driving clear hypotheses, breakthrough analyses and actionable strategic insights for organizational and operational improvement. In doing so, the incumbent will be skilled at applying a strategic approach to problem-solving through quantitative analysis, financial modeling, hypothesis-based issue analysis and the use of multiple strategic frameworks. The incumbent recognizes the important role technology plays in achieving and sustaining true transformation and brings experience from several tech-enabled programs. The incumbent takes pride in staying on top of industry and technology trends and is constantly assessing their potential impact on the organization and generating project ideas accordingly. The incumbent has a track record as a talent multiplier who is adept at people development for individuals and teams. Finally, the incumbent is a strong change agent, adept at navigating a heavily matrixed organization and influencing leaders at all levels to truly transform their business.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
Financial and delivery responsibilities: Drive P&L and strategic value for the enterprise through the division’s portfolio of projects. Work closely with senior/executive leadership to identify, scope, prioritize, and deliver large- and small-scale consulting projects that advance business outcomes and achieve strategic objectives. Ultimate owner of engagement deliverables, resources (internal & external) and outcomes within the portfolio.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Operations, Information Technology, or closely related discipline

EXPERIENCE
Required
10 years’ experience in the Strategy, Operations, Mergers and Acquisitions, or Human Capital Practice of a consulting firm or similar experience from a consulting-oriented role in a corporate environment or private equity firm
To Include
7 years of management experience and/or experience leading teams and/or projects of varying size and complexity
7 years of working in complex, matrixed environments or across multiple businesses
Preferred
5 years of aggregate project experience from the Healthcare industry (payor and/or provider)
