Senior Research Consultant DACH (B2B Focus) (m/f/d)

Your mission as a Senior Research Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Research Consultant (m/f/d) with a strong quantitative market research background to join our newly dedicated B2B research team in the DACH region. This specialized unit focuses on research projects that specifically survey B2B target groups, professional decision-makers, and niche business audiences (rather than only only standard B2C consumer panels), serving fast-moving consultancy clients and corporate B2B requests.

In this role, you will lead complex quantitative B2B research projects end-to-end, from initial feasibility alignment and study design to reporting and insight presentation. You will act as a senior sparring partner for corporate strategy leads and consultancy teams, translating intricate B2B & B2C data into clear, decision-ready recommendations. You will thrive in a high-velocity environment where speed, rigorous B2B screening logic, strong client presence, and operational precision are essential.

What you’ll be doing

• End-to-End B2B Project Lead: Manage quantitative research projects end-to-end, including B2B screening design, questionnaire drafting, platform setup, fieldwork monitoring, and data delivery.
• Methodology & Study Design: Optimise bespoke study designs across core use cases (e.g., Target Group Analysis, U&A, Pricing studies, Concept Testing) mainly tailored to hard-to-reach professional audiences.
• Senior Client Sparring & Advisory: Act as a trusted partner for fast-paced consultancy and corporate clients, advising on sample feasibility, survey logic, and optimal research approaches under tight deadlines.
• Commercial & Scoping Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Account Management on project scoping, feasibility checks, and methodology definition for complex project requests.
• Process & Quality Enhancement: Contribute to standardizing B2B screening protocols, sampling frameworks, and best practices to coach other researcher and safeguard delivery speed and research quality across the team.

You will thrive in this role if

• You have 5+ years of experience in quantitative market research with a distinct focus on surveying B2B target groups and professional decision-makers (agency or consulting background required; pure academic or non-client backgrounds will not fit this role).
• You have hands-on experience designing studies, writing questionnaires, and executing quantitative projects across core B2B use cases (e.g., U&A, Pricing studies, Concept Testing, Target Group Analysis).
• You bring proven experience creating executive-ready reports and presenting complex data through clear, compelling storytelling to senior client-side stakeholders.
• You possess a strategic, commercially minded approach with the self-confidence to guide clients and defend research decisions under pressure.
• You excel in high-velocity environments, with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, and stay calm under tight deadlines.
• You are proficient in German (C2 level required) and English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• You bring a pragmatic, proactive, and resilient mindset with a passion for data quality and innovation.
