What you’ll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Fund Services Inc. is seeking a Director, Investor Services in Purchase, NY to serve as a primary point of contact to the Fund Manager and their Investors, ensuring Service level agreements are met in a timely manner. Promote Investor Digitization project to clients and investors and educate them on Data confidentiality, protection of sensitive data, and GDPR. Provide Fund Managers and Investors support on our MSFS Digitization platforms. Coordinate with global colleagues within Investor Services, AML, FATCA, Tax, Accounting, and Cash teams ensuring best service delivery. Open new investor accounts ensuring compliance with the fund documentation, anti- money- laundering requirements, statutory regulations and company policies and procedures. Process investor transactions in line with the fund documentation, anti-money laundering requirements, statutory regulations and company policies and procedures. Process and verify cash movements associated with investor activity. Ensure records of the fund are maintained in compliance with regulations. Perform third level review of activity processed by teammates. Coordinate communication between Fund Managers and other internal teams within MSFS, ensuring privacy policies are followed and risk of confidentiality breaches are minimized. Assist Fund Managers to carve out investments for investors in situations of investment in sanctioned securities.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Manager, Associate, or a closely related occupation

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

• fund administration including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and investor reporting;
• private equity fund structure, and capital allocation;
• Anti- money laundering and Know Your Customer Compliance including regulatory requirements and documentation checks;
• interpreting investor data and performing reconciliations;
• Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation;
• client and investor portals, Customer Relationship Management tools, and fund accounting platforms;
• processing transactions and record maintenance;
• resolving client and operational issues;
• Client Relationship Management including handling inquiries and maintaining relationships.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $129,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
